UK, 1849: Other Platinoid Metals, from Catalogue Advert



Considering the trade, it's surprising that Horne & Thornwaite offerred no Platinum or Palladium for sale by catalogue in 1849.  Grove's Battery sold for the equivalent USD$ 7.22; Smee's for the equivalent USD$ 2.41 & $3.01.

Osmiridium sold retail at over 25% the Australian Spot for Gold ore.
