At the turn of the year 1895 Platinum cost 1,555 Marks per kilogram. In the spring of 1896 it was already 1,620; by January 1897 it cost 1,660. In the summer of the same year (1897) it was in the 1,700s.  In the Spring of 1898 in the 1,800's, in September 1898 2,000. - and today it costs 2,250 Mark .
