PLATINUM.—Foil or wire of platinum is now quoted at 32s. per oz., Troy. The following are the present values of some of the rarer metals usually found in association with platinum. Iridium—powder, 3s.; iused 4s. 6d.; worked, 7 s. 6d. to 10s. per gramme. Rhodium—powder, 15s.; iused, 17s. 6d.; worked, 18s. to 25s. per gramme. Palladium —powder, 2s.; fused or worked, 3s. Ruthenium powder, 10s., and Osmium powder, 3s. per gramme. The total output of platinum from the Ural mountains in 1891 was 10,311 ins., English—an increase of 3,060 lbs. upon the output in 1890.

It would appear the 1892 Semi-Manufacturing Cost for basic foil/wire was  £ 0.10/Oz.
