At the turn of the year 1895 Platinum cost 1,555 Marks per kilogram. In the spring of 1896 it was already 1,620, by January 1897 it cost 1,660. In the summer of the same year (1897) it was in the 1,700s.  In the Spring of 1898 in the 1,800's, in September 2,000. - and today it costs 2,250 Mark .
